KEA ISLAND - Property By The Aegean Sea In Cyclades
Kea belongs to The Cyclades, the most famous group of islands in Greece. In contrast to the rest of Cyclades that are dry islands with sparse plant life, Kea is rich in fresh water sources and colourful vegetation with oak trees, olive trees, vines, figs, pistachios and almonds. The picturesque island of Kea, only an hour away from Athens is famous for its crystal clear water beaches but also for its archaeological sites, handicrafts and the amazingly long network of ancient marked footpaths for trekking, which attract many visitors each year. The azure blue beaches of Pisses, Koundouros Otzias and Gialiskari not only draw the attention of the swimmers but also of sailboats and yachts. During the summer air temperatures vary from 28 to 35 degrees while water temperatures vary from 22 to 28.
